Course Objectives
The learner shall be able to provide a simple description of the whole aircraft, using common words and examples using typical terms and identify safety precautions related to the airframe, its systems and power plant. Describe the general layout of the aircraft and power plant major systems.
Location
Training will take place online via Microsoft Teams.
Target Group
Employees in an aviation-related industry (technical, financial, supervisory, etc) who require familiarisation with the aircraft type.
Examination
An examination will take place on the final day of the course either at Atlantic Aviation Group, Shannon or online.
Certificate
In House Certificate.
Course Content
The course will be delivered over seven days and consists of instruction on aircraft systems and engines. The general layout and characteristics of the aircraft and engine systems are defined. Flight compartment instruments and panel information have been included to assist in describing the system operation. Safety precautions and practices will be explained.

This course will give you a good overview of the A330 systems and engines, how they work and interact with each other. You will gain an appreciation of the safety requirements when working around the aircraft and typical maintenance practices. This course will be relevant to you if you work in support departments, such as Engineering, Technical Services, CAMO, Quality, Leasing or similar. It may also benefit those in Production Management or Supervision in a maintenance environment.
